The leading contenders for the 2022 Golden Boot award for the Premier League

With 15 goals from 9 games, ErlingHaaland is the clear front-runner in the race for the Golden Boot of the ongoing Premier League season. The next contender, Harry Kane, is 6 goals away from catching up with Haaland, who has played a key role in all of Manchester City’s matches so far.

The Norwegian’s most recent performance includes a 4-0 victory over Southampton, where he scored the final goal. At the rate, Haaland is on track to take on some records including Mohamed Salah’s 32 goals in 38 games in the 2017-18 season, and Andy Cole and Alan Shearer’s record of 34 goals in 42 games.
