The much-anticipated 2024 Women's Premier League (WPL) is all geared up for its sophomore edition, kicking off on February 23, 2024.

The excitement mounts as the opening clash features a thrilling showdown between the Delhi Capitals and the Mumbai Indians, promising fans a riveting start to the tournament.

The inaugural match of WPL 2024 between DC and MI will light up the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

In the previous edition, Mumbai Indians, under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur, emerged victorious, securing the championship by outplaying the Delhi Capitals, led by Meg Lanning, in an exhilarating final showdown.

WPL 2024 is locked in from February 23 to March 17, featuring five teams battling it out in 22 thrilling matches.

Unlike the previous edition, which saw matches in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, this year, Bengaluru and Delhi take the spotlight as the chosen cities to host the league matches.

Looking ahead to WPL 2024, fans can expect a total of 22 matches split between two top-tier stadiums: Bengaluru's Chinnaswamy Stadium and Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium. Each venue will showcase 11 exciting matchups, promising an electrifying experience for spectators.

The league stage of WPL 2024 will feature 20 intense matches. After this stage, the Eliminator and Final matches will determine the ultimate champion.

The team topping the league standings will earn a direct ticket to the WPL 2024 Final, while the second and third-placed teams will battle it out in the Eliminator for a chance to advance.

During the entire 24-day duration of WPL 2024, fans can expect one match per day without any double-header matches.

The Eliminator is locked in for March 15, while the grand finale of WPL 2024 is scheduled for March 17 in Delhi.
