David Warner, the iconic Australian cricketer, recently bid farewell to Test cricket after the Pakistan series.
However, he continues to dazzle in the shortest format.

During the first T20 match against West Indies on February 9, Warner smashed a remarkable half-century, marking a historic milestone in his illustrious career.

Warner’s Incredible Milestone:

Davids Warner, a stalwart of Australian cricket, continues to shine even after retiring from Test and ODI formats.

On February 9, in a thrilling T20 clash against West Indies, Warner delivered a masterclass.

Opening the innings, he blazed to his 25th T20 half-century in just 22 balls, then achieved another half-century in the same over, marking a sensational milestone.

Moreover, Warner etched his name in cricketing history by becoming the first player to score 50+ in his 100th match across Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, showcasing his unparalleled consistency and adaptability.

Warner, who recently retired from Test and ODI cricket, led the team in his first international match since then. He played against West Indies at Bellerive Oval in Hobart. Warner batted with Josh Inglis and scored 70 runs off just 36 balls.

He reached his 50 runs in only 21 balls, making him the first player ever to score 100 fifties in T20 cricket.
Warner joined the ranks of Virat Kohli and Ross Taylor as the only third cricketer to play 100 or more international matches in all formats.

Ross Taylor achieved this in February 2020, and Kohli did it in 2022.

Warner is now the first Australian to reach this milestone. He celebrated by scoring a massive fifty in the match.

Warner has had a remarkable career, playing 112 Tests and 161 ODIs for Australia and scoring over 15,000 runs. He also achieved his 25th T20I fifty and is approaching the 3,000-run mark in T20Is.

Warner's amazing performance helped Australia score 213/7 while batting first on Friday. Tim David also played well, scoring 37 runs off just 14 balls, and Inglis continued his good form with 39 runs off 25 balls.

West Indies also made a strong start, with Brandon King scoring a fifty and Johnson Charles adding 42 runs off 25 balls.

However, Australia fought back with three wickets from Adam Azama and two from Marcus Stoinis. This limited West Indies to 202/8, giving Australia a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
