Rinku Singh's Massive 100m Six Against Australia
Finisher Rinku Singh was the shining light for India in the ongoing virtual decider 4th T20I against Australia. The match is taking place at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur, where visitors won the toss and opted to field first.
Rinku Singh bailed India out of trouble after they lost wickets at regular intervals. The batter came to bat when the team was 63/3. After that, he took the control and made sure that he kept his side in the game along with putting pressure on the opposition.
Rinku Singh batted with a positive mindset and played some staggering strokes.
Rinku smashed quite a few sixes in his innings but his one shot caught the attention of many. It was a stupendous stroke that made many in the stadium stand and applaud him.
During the last ball of the 13th over, Rinku Singh came down the track to Ben Dwarshuis. He took the momentum into the shovel and sent it soaring into the stands. It was 100-m six that amazed many.
Ben Dwarshuis banged it short but Rinku danced down the ground and hammered it into the ground for a monstrous six.
Rinku has been in terrific form this series and flourished in the role of finisher with his power-hitting and ability to hold his nerves in crunch situations.
The 100-metre six was Rinku’s second of the night as he continued his stellar form in the format. The Kolkata Knight Riders batter had hit nine sixes in four T20I innings before the game, at a strike rate of 216.94.
