In the upcoming week, 74 of NBA’s players will enter the trading marketplace. While trades in December are unlikely, and haven’t happened in many years, the possibility of player movement remains. As the February trade deadline, approaches, here are some questions for the NBA trade season:

1) Who are the best players who are up for trade? This list includes Danilo Gallinari, Patty Mills, JaVale McGee, Donte DiVincenzo, John Wall, half of the Lakers, Kyle Anderson, and Collin Sexton.

2) Which teams could be sellers? Among the teams who are not expected to buy players are the Pistons, Rockets, Hornets, Magic, Spurs, and Thunder. However, there are several players that teams could be planning to sell and that includes Bojan Bogdanovic, Alec Burks, Eric Gordon, Josh Richardson, Jakob Poeltl, Doug McDermott, PJ Washington, Kelly Oubre Jr., Gary Harris, Terrence Ross, and Mo Bamba.

 3) What is the future of the Lakers? The Lakers are currently ranked two positions below the Pacers, with whom they are expected to trade Russell Westbrook, and potential centres who could be included in the team are Myles Turner, and Nikola Vucevic, who could play in the same position as Anthony Davis. Other potential trades include Patrick Beverley, Lonnie Walker IV, and Eric Gordon.

4) Which is the least predictable team in the trade scenario? The Raptors are in a unique position, as they have a league-average offense and a top-quality defense and have had an overall disappointing season for Scottie Barnes who couldn’t qualify as an All-Star, and Fred VanVleet whose shooting percentage is 37% from the field. Potential trading scenarios that could help the team are trading VanVleet for Patrick Williams, Coby White and Derrick Jones Jr. of the Chicago Bulls.

5) Will Bradley Beal be traded? Bradley Beal has missed 11 games this season due to an injured hamstring and been part of a 5-year$251 million deal with the Wizards. Beal formerly averaged above 30 points per game in consecutive seasons but has done so in only two games this season. At 29 years old, and as one of the 36 best players in the league, Beal faces a high possibility of being traded. Among the teams he could potentially fare well in is Dallas, alongside Luka Doncic.
