Pardeep Narwal has set a record at the Pro Kabaddi League, as the first raider to cross the 1500 milestone points in history, while playing for the UP Yoddhas, against the Gujarat Giants. The two teams clashed against each other in game number 93 of the Pro Kabaddi League 2022, at the Gachibowli Indoor stadium in Hyderabad, where the UPYoddhas won comfortably with a slim margin of 35-31.

Team captain Narwal started the match with 1495 career raid points. During the match he put up an impressive performance and led his team to victory after scoring a total of nine raid points, which included seven touch points and two bonus points. This achievement makes Narwal the top raider at the Pro-Kabaddi League, a position he has held for a while and is not expected to give up anytime soon.

This offers some hopes for title contention to the UP Yoddhas who have been a part of the League since 2017 but are yet to win the title. They have qualified for the play-offs every season but have never been able to win the at the final.
