As the NBA heads into its seventh week, here are 5 things to watch out for:

 1) LeBron James returns: James returned last week, after a prolonged break due to injury, to help the Lakers defeat the Spurs. This also means that fans can resume keenly following James’ journey to break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record as the highest scorer of all time in the NBA, for which James needs to score 1,017 more points. James has also set his sights on dethroning Lakers veteran Magic Johnson from the sixth place in the table for all-time highest assists.

 2) Milestones by other players: LeBron James isn’t the only player to be chasing milestones at the NBA, with Klay Thompson seeking to edge out Joe Johnson who are currently tied in the 15th place for the highest number of 3-pointers scored. Kevin Durant, who just surpassed Kevin Garnett to grab the 18th spot on the all-time higher scorer’s table, is now gearing up to displace John Havlicek, for which he needs 255 more points.

 3) 3 must-see matches: Stephen Curry, and Luka Doncic, who are the current highest scorers in the league, will clash for the first time this season in Maverick’s game versus Golden State on Tuesday. Miami and Boston – who were the finalists of last year’s Eastern Conference Finals will also meet each other on Wednesday. Finally, the Lakers and the Bucks are to play each other on Friday, in a match which will star several Kia MVP players including LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Russell Westbrook.

 4) 3 League Pass matches: Oklahoma City’s game against New Orleans will star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who has scored at least 30 points in four consecutive matches, which is currently matched by Joel Embiid. Indiana and Sacramento will also play each other on Wednesday, which marks Haliburton’s return to Sacramento a year after he was traded. Cleveland and New York will also fight it out for the first time this season at Madison Square Garden.

 5) Trivia: 34 years ago, on November 28, 1988, Lakers legend Magic Johnson scored 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 20 assists in a 109-104 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers. The feat of 30+ points, 20+ assists and 10+ rebounds has been achieved only thrice since
