Aaron Judge just hit 50 home runs, marking the second time he has achieved this feat. The last time a player did so, was Pete Alonso in 2019. Here’s 7 other players who can hit 50 home runs:

1) Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Blue Jays: With 30 home runs so far in 2022, and 48 in 2021, 50 is a realistic target for Guerrero. However, he has experienced a slump in form since last year, with an OPS rating 150 points below last year’s rating. However, this is expected to be temporary, and he is a top contender for 50 home runs.

2) Yordan Alvarez, Astros: With 37 home runs so far in 2022, powerful hitter Alvarez is a promising candidate. However, he has been slowed down by injury, and this is a vulnerability he needs to overcome as he approaches the peak of his career.

3) Fernando Tatis Jr., Padres: Due to his 80-game suspension, Fernando will not be able to achieve the feat this season. However, with a career best of 42 in 2021 from only 130 games, there are plenty of opportunities for the dynamic 22-year-old.

4) Bryce Harper, Phillies: The veteran player has hit 18 home runs so far this season. While he has been in the game for a while and won the 2015 NL MVP Award, Harper has hit more than 40 home runs only once. However, he has been developing his power play, and given his talent, could deliver 50 home runs eventually.

5) Mike Trout, Angels: With 36 home runs so far in 2022, and a career best of 45 home runs off 134 games in 2019, Trout is a promising candidate for 50 home runs. Despite his declining health since 2019, and his to inclination to run less, Trout is playing at a powerful pace, and hopes are high that he can achieve the feat.

6) Shohei Ohtani, Angels: With 34 home runs so far in 2022, and a career best of 46 in 2021, Ohtani has been consistently improving his performance over the years. A versatile player who is adept at both hitting, and pitching, Ohtani is well within his capability to score 50 home runs and can also break the home run record of Barry Bonds and the ERA record of Bob Gibson.

7) Ronald Acuna Jr., Braves: Given his knee surgery and the 13 home runs he has scored so far this season, it is unlikely that he can recover soon enough to score 50 home runs this season. However, his is set to catch a break soon and will be back in action in 2023. With the right combination of health and concentration, he is expected to achieve the feat one day.
