Tommy Doyle confirmed his move to Wolves on loan from Manchester City.
Wolverhampton Wanderers is delighted to announce the completion of signing youngster Tommy Doyle from Manchester City on a season-long loan deal.
Wolves also confirmed they have an option to buy the midfielder in a permanent move included in the loan deal.
After spending last season on loan at Sheffield United, Doyle had expressed his desire to test himself in the Premier League this season.
His loan move to Wolves now allows him to test himself in the Premier League. Prior to his loan move to the Midlands club, Doyle spent last season on loan at Sheffield United.
He was a key part in their promotion from the Championship featuring 38 times for the Blades last season.
Now that Tommy Doyle has completed his move to Wolves, the next steps begin for the youngster in his promising young career.
Wolves sporting director Matt Hobbs is pleased with the addition and explained what he thinks Doyle will bring to Wolves. He said: “For me, he’s a technician, a ball player, a little bit like what Ruben Neves was to the team."
