Auston Trusty confirmed his move to Sheffield United from Arsenal.
Sheffield United FC is delighted to announce the completion of signing USA international Auston Trusty from Arsenal for an undisclosed fee.
USA's experienced defender Auston Trusty agreed with the terms and has signed a four-year contract with the Blades (Sheffield United).
Birmingham City and Glasgow giants Rangers are also reportedly interested in signing the defender.
The 24-year-old has yet to make a single appearance for the Gunners but has been given opportunities to impress boss Mikel Arteta in pre-season.
Trusty, who joined Arsenal in early 2022 from their sister club Colorado Rapids, enjoyed a successful loan spell at Birmingham last term.
He missed just two matches for the Blues as he scooped the club's 'Player of the Season' award. His final match for Birmingham came against United on the final day of the regular campaign.
Trusty's performances with Birmingham earned him a first appearance for the U.S. men's national team in March's Concacaf Nations League win over Grenada.
Trusty had only just arrived back from the U.S., where he took part in Arsenal's preseason tour, but is now ready to take part in Sheffield United's return to the Premier League following their promotion from the Championship.
