Janice Cayman confirmed her move to WSL side Leicester City following her exit from Lyon.
Women's Super League (WSL) side Leicester City Women is delighted to announce the completion of signing Belgium international Janice Cayman following her departure from Olympique Lyonnais (Lyon), subject to league and international clearance.
Cayman’s arrival comes after her contract with Lyon, the French club, expired last month, making her a free agent in the transfer market.
The 34-year-old attacking midfielder is Belgium's most capped female player, having represented her country 137 times.
Cayman, who won two Champions League titles during her four years at Lyon, is Leicester's third summer signing.
With an impressive track record of 137 international caps and experience gained from playing in top leagues, Cayman brings valuable skills and versatility to the team.
Her arrival, along with the recent signing of Lena Petermann, showcases Leicester City Women’s determination to strengthen their squad and make a mark in the highly competitive league.
Leicester City fans can look forward to witnessing the impact of these new signings as the team aims for success in the upcoming season.
