Belgium winger, Jeremy Doku confirmed his move to Manchester City from Rennes for £55.4m.
Premier League champions Manchester City is overwhelmed to announce the completion of signing Belgium international Jeremy Doku from Rennes for a fee believed to be £55.4m in the summer transfer window.
Belgium winger, Jeremy Doku agreed with the personal terms and has signed a five-year contract with Manchester City. The newly signed contract will keep him in the club until summer 2028.
The sensational winger is poised to become City’s third major signing of the summer, after Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea for £25m and Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig for £77m.
Jeremy Doku had 10 goals in 77 French Ligue 1 appearance for Rennes and was regarded as one of the best youngsters to grace the French Ligue 1.
He is known for his dribbling skills, prowess on one-on-one situations, good positional and link-up play and attacking flair.
Doku plays as winger and will be expected to step into the void left by former Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez who left the club for Al Hilal due to lack of game time.
