Fulham Secures Burnley Midfielder Berge for £25 Million.
Fulham has bolstered their squad with the acquisition of Burnley midfielder Sander Berge for £25 million. The deal brings the highly-rated playmaker to Craven Cottage, adding a dynamic edge to Fulham's midfield.
Norwegian midfielder Sander Berge has signed a five-year contract with Fulham, with an option to extend for an additional year. The deal includes an initial £20 million fee, plus up to £5 million in add-ons.
Berge, 26, joined Burnley from Sheffield United in 2023 and was named the Clarets' player of the year despite their relegation to the Championship.
"It's fantastic," Berge said. "After some back and forth over the last few weeks, I'm excited to be here at this beautiful stadium and know my future is with Fulham."
He becomes Fulham's fourth signing of the transfer window, joining Emile Smith Rowe, Jorge Cuenca, and Ryan Sessegnon.
Berge, who made 37 appearances for Burnley last season, has not featured in the Clarets' Championship games this season.
