Chelsea Acquire Fulham's Defensive Talent Tosin Adarabioyo.
Chelsea have secured Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer. The 26-year-old has signed a four-year contract with the Blues.
Tosin Adarabioyo will join Chelsea when his contract with Fulham expires at the end of the month. He aims to play in Europe, with Chelsea set for next season's Europa Conference League.
The former Manchester City academy centre-back turned down a lucrative offer from Fulham in April.
'Chelsea is a huge club, and this is a full-circle moment for me. I was born three miles from Stamford Bridge and made my professional debut there,' Adarabioyo said.
"I'm thrilled and eager to help steer the club in the right direction," Adarabioyo said.
Chelsea aim to enhance their performance in both attacking and defensive set-pieces, with coach Bernardo Cueva joining from Brentford for £750,000 to head the new set-piece department.
Adarabioyo's arrival might hasten the exit of Chelsea academy defender Trevoh Chalobah, who is reportedly attracting interest from Manchester United and is available for sale this summer.
Additionally, veteran defender Thiago Silva, 39, is set to leave Chelsea to rejoin his former club, Fluminense, in Brazil.
