Alex Scott confirmed his move to Bournemouth FC from Bristol City for a fee of £25m.
Bristol City FC is overwhelmed to confirm the completion of signing Scotland international Alex Scott from Bristol City for a fee believed to be £25m.
Scott midfielder, Alex Scott agreed with the terms and has signed a long-term contract with Bristol City and has become club's fifth signing of the summer.
The 19-year-old - who spent a short period of time in Bournemouth's youth academy - featured 91 times for Bristol City after making his first team debut in April 2021.
Scott - a regular throughout the England youth set-up - contributed five assists in 42 Sky Bet Championship appearances last season.
He becomes Bournemouth's five signing of the summer, joining Justin Kluivert, Hamed Traore, Romain Faivre and Milos Kerkez in making the switch to the south coast.
The club revealed that Scott suffered a knee injury in a recent training session with his former club so will join up with his new team-mates once fit.
Bournemouth chief executive, Neill Blake, said on Scott’s signing: “We are delighted to welcome Alex to the club, who is one of the most exciting young players in Europe."
