Luana Buhler confirmed to join Tottenham from Hoffenheim on a two-year deal.
Tottenham Hotspur Women has officially confirmed the signing of Switzerland defender Luana Buhler from Hoffenheim Women ahead of the new season.
Swiss international Luana Buhler agreed with the terms and has signed a two-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur Women, subject to her international clearance and work permit.
Buhler joins Spurs after spending the last five years with German club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. The defender has been a member of a team that has been a constant fixture in the top half of the FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga table in recent seasons.
In addition to domestic outings, Buhler has also represented TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in the UEFA Women’s Champions League in her time with the club.
On the international stage, Buhler has made 38 senior appearances for the Swiss national team while she has scored one goal. The player represented her country at the UEFA Women’s EURO last summer.
Buhler is new Spurs head coach Robert Vilahamn’s first signing for his new club. The former BK Häcken boss was appointed into his new position yesterday.
