Micky van de Ve confirmed his move to Tottenham from Wolfsburg for 40m euros (£34m).
Tottenham Hotspur is delighted to announce the completion of signing Netherlands Under-21s skipper Micky van de Ven from Wolfsburg in a deal worth 40m euros (£34m).
Netherland international, Micky van de Ven agreed with the terms and has signed a six-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur.
Subject to a deal between the clubs being finalised, the left-sided centre-back will travel to the UK to undergo a medical and complete the transfer on a long-term contract.
The 22-year-old defender, who moved to Wolfsburg in 2021, made 41 appearances for the Bundesliga side in all competitions while he has also featured for the Netherlands Under-21 side 11 times.
At Wolfsburg, the defender was deployed in a back three as well as a back four as the club finished eighth.
Van de Ven is set to become Tottenham’s fourth summer signing after the arrivals of James Maddison, Guglielmo Vicario, and Manor Solomon.
Spurs will start their Premier League campaign away at Brentford on Sunday.
