Matheus Nunes completed his move to Manchester City for £53m from Wolves.
Premier League Champions, Manchester City is extremely excited to announce the completion of signing Portugal midfielder, Matheus Nunes from Wolverhampton Wanderers for a fee believed to be £53m.
Matheus Nunes underwent a medical in Manchester yesterday and has signed a five-year deal to complete the transfer process.
The Portugal international, who will wear the No.27 shirt, said: “I’m so happy to be joining Manchester City, the Champions of Europe and a club I’ve admired for a long time.
Nunes arrives as a midfield reinforcement with Kevin De Bruyne, who has been ruled out for up to six months with a hamstring injury. He is City's fourth signing of the transfer window, following Mateo Kovacic, Josko Gvardiol and Jeremy Doku.
Nunes will take the No.27 shirt that he wore at Wolves and was most recently worn at City by Joao Cancelo.
