PSG is all set to resign Xavi Simons from PSV Eindhoven in this summer transfer.
Paris St-Germain (PSG) is extremely delighted to resign Netherlands midfielder, Xavi Simons from PSV Eindhoven in this summer transfer.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder, Xavi Simons joined PSV from PSG last summer on a five-year deal but with a buy-back clause included, which the Ligue 1 club have now exercised.
The fee is believed to be as low as €6 million (£5.2m; $6.6m).
Simons spent most of his youth career at Barcelona before leaving to join PSG in 2019.
Simons left Spain to join the French capital in 2019 before making his professional debut in 2021 and winning the league and Coupe de France.
Simons helped PSV secure a second-place finish in the Dutch top flight, making 34 appearances, scoring 19 goals and registering eight assists.
He has won the KNVB Cup, Johan Cruyff Shield and Eredivisie’s top scorer award during his time at the club.
