English Premier League champions Leicester City FC has officially announced the completion of signing Ghana winger Abdul Fatawu from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon on a season-long loan.

Highly-rated Ghanaian teen, Abdul Fatawu has become Leicester City's eighth signing of the summer, joining Harry Winks, Conor Coady, Callum Doyle, Mads Hermansen, Stephy Mavididi, Cesare Casadei and Yunus Akgun as a new arrival.

Abdul Fatawu, who moved to Sporting Lisbon in 2022, will join his new teammates at the King Power stadium after he gets league and international clearance.

The 19-year-old Ghanaian international featured for his country at last year’s World Cup in Qatar and has been capped 14 times at senior level.

At club level, he has played 12 first-team games for Sporting, appearing for the club in the Champions League last season.
