Luis Palma confirmed his move to Celtic from Aris Thessaloniki.
In a highly anticipated move, Celtic is delighted to announce the completion of signing Honduras winger, Luis Palma from Aris Thessaloniki in the final stretch of this year's summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old arrives from the Greek club to Celtic on a five-year deal.
The Honduran international, who was previously linked with rivals Rangers, has sealed a move to Parkhead to become the champions' seventh summer recruit.
He told the club's website: "I could not be any happier with today’s news. It is a very special day for me and an honour to be announced as a Celtic player. I can’t wait to be part of this great club, a club I know all about as one of the great names in world football."
He spent two seasons in Greece and scored 13 goals in 40 league appearances.
Palma has six caps for his national team.
He attracted interest from Rangers earlier in the transfer window, although Michael Beale's side focused on other targets after failing to agree a transfer fee.
Celtic manager, Brendan Rodgers added: “We are really pleased to bring Luis to the Club. He is a player who had a lot of options but, of course, we are delighted he has chosen to come to Celtic, an opportunity which really excites him.
He is a very talented, player who likes to play attacking football so we hope he will be a very good fit for the team."
The forward will bolster Rodgers' attacking options, whilst the club are also in the market for an "experienced" central defender.
Celtic travel to Ibrox to face Rangers this Sunday.
