Everton Secure Forward Ndiaye on Five-Year Contract.
Everton has completed the signing of Senegalese forward Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille on a five-year contract, reportedly for a fee around £15 million.
The 24-year-old moved to Marseille from Sheffield United last year.
Ndiaye scored four goals in 46 appearances last season, contributing to Marseille's run to the Europa League semi-finals.
"He's young but already has experience at European and international levels, making him a valuable addition to our squad," said Everton manager Sean Dyche.
Sheffield United reluctantly accepted a reported £20 million offer for Ndiaye after his impressive performance of 14 goals and 11 assists helped them secure promotion from the Championship in 2022-23.
Ndiaye joined Sheffield United from non-league side Boreham Wood in 2019, having previously been in the Marseille academy before moving to Senegal, his father's homeland.
Ndiaye is Everton's third summer signing, joining winger Jack Harrison on a season-long loan from Leeds and midfielder Tim Iroegbunam from Aston Villa.
"The main reasons I wanted to join were the club's size, history, and the role I can play in its future," said Ndiaye, who has earned 20 international caps.
"I'm thrilled. It will be an honor to be part of the final season at Goodison Park."
Kevin Thelwell, Everton's director of football, commented: "Iliman is a player we've admired for some time, and we're delighted to add his sought-after quality to Everton."
