Fulham reached an agreement to sign Raul Jimenez from Wolves for £5m.
Fulham has officially agreed to a £5m deal to sign the talented striker Raul Jimenez from Wolves in this ongoing summer transfer.
The 32-year-old has left his club’s training camp in Portugal to complete a move to West London.
It remains unclear whether Jimenez will serve as a replacement for Talisman Aleksandar Mitrovic after the Serbian told Fulham he wanted to move to Al-Hilal.
Jimenez has been at Wolves since 2018 having initially joined on loan from Benfica before agreeing to sign him on a permanent deal in 2019.
The Mexico international was widely regarded as one of the most prolific strikers in England’s top flight before suffering a horrific injury in 2020.
Last season, he featured 20 times across all competitions and scored three goals, all of which came in the Carabao Cup.
Fulham FC are also close to agreeing to a £15 million deal to sign Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu and have agreed a €21m fee with Ajax for defender Calvin Bassey.
