Everton FC has completed signing Jack Harrison on loan from Leeds.
Everton FC has officially confirmed the signing of English winger Jack Harrison on a season-long loan from Leeds United.
The 26-year-old looked set for a move to Goodison Park after the Toffees agreed a deal with Leeds for Harrison.
The winger had a medical with Everton over the weekend and a deal was said to be advanced.
However, an 11th hour bid from Aston Villa threw Harrison’s move to Goodison Park into doubt.
The midfielder is therefore set for Everton after they activated a clause in his contract to sign him on a season-long loan.
The deal will include the option of signing Harrison on a permanent deal in 2024, though it’s not mandatory.
Harrison is the Toffees' fourth signing of the summer, following the permanent additions of Yousseff Chermiti and Ashley Young, as well as the loan deal for Arnaut Danjuma.
The former New York City FC winger has been absent for the start of Leeds’ Championship campaign under Daniel Farke, with a hopping issue that is set to keep him out until after the September international break.
