Norwich Secures 'Exciting' Danish Teenager Schwartau.
Norwich City has signed Denmark Under-19 international Oscar Schwartau to a four-year contract.
The 18-year-old arrives from Brøndby IF, where he made his debut as the club's youngest player at just 16 years old in 2022 and later became their youngest goalscorer.
Oscar Schwartau, an attacking midfielder, describes his move to Carrow Road as a "big moment" in his career.
Over two seasons at Brøndby, he made 46 appearances and scored six goals. His contract with Norwich includes an option for an additional year.
Norwich's sporting director, Ben Knapper, commented, “Oscar is one of Danish football's most exciting talents, and we're thrilled to bring him to Norwich City.
At just 18, he already has valuable experience in both domestic and European competitions. We’re confident that, in our environment, he will continue to develop and reach his full potential.”
