Getafe Loan Deal: Bournemouth Welcomes Enes Unal in Latest Transfer Move.
Bournemouth has secured the services of Turkish striker Enes Unal on loan from Getafe.
With 36 goals in 109 appearances for Getafe since his move from Villarreal in 2020, Unal brings an impressive track record.
A former member of Premier League champions Manchester City, Unal has represented Turkey in 32 matches, scoring twice. This season, he has participated in just three La Liga games, starting only one.
Bournemouth's chief executive, Neill Blake, expressed excitement about the new signing, stating, 'We're really pleased to welcome Enes to the club and believe he'll add strength to our front line. He's proven that he can score goals in multiple different countries, and we believe he's got the skillset to succeed in the Premier League.'
Unal was acquired by Manchester City in 2015 at the age of 16, but he didn't make any competitive appearances for the club. Instead, he had loan spells with Genk, NAC Breda, and Twente.
In the January transfer window, six players have departed Bournemouth on loan, while midfielder Nathan Moriah-Walsh secured a permanent move to Hibernian.
