Tom Davies confirmed his move to Sheffield United following his exit from Everton.
The newly-promoted Premier League club Sheffield United is overwhelmed to announce the completion of signing midfielder Tom Davies on a free transfer following his departure from Everton.
The 25-year-old midfielder joins United on a three-year contract after his contract at Everton expired.
Davies had been at Everton since the age of 11 and signed his first professional contract with the club in 2015 and became the youngest captain in the club’s history at 20 years and 60 days.
Davies, a former England Under 21 international, made 19 Premier League appearances last season. He made his league debut in 2016, and in his time at Everton has made a total of 179 appearances in all competitions and scored seven goals.
However, he will now line up against his old club, with the first meeting between the two sides scheduled for Saturday, September 2.
