Australian international goalkeeper, Teagan Micah has officially confirmed her move to Liverpool Women following her departure from FC Rosengard in this summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old will get to work with her new club after the World Cup, where she is representing her country where she made her senior debut in 2021.

The shot-stopper signs with the Reds after spending the last 2 seasons in Sweden, where she helped FC Rosengård to back-to-back Damallsvenskan titles and lifted the Swedish Women's Cup once.

Micah made 45 appearances for Rosengard, including two UEFA Women's Champions League campaigns, the last where she featured in all six group stage matches for the Malmo-based side.

The goalkeeper becomes the second signing for Matt Beard's side, joining the likes of Natasha Flint in inking a deal with Liverpool for the upcoming season.

Micah is the second-ever Australian women's player to sign for Liverpool, with fellow Aussie Emily Gielnik spending a season with the Reds in 2012.

Shortly after signing her contract, she told Liverpoolfc.com: “I’m excited to be here. It’s Liverpool Football Club, so it’s massive and I’m just really excited for this next chapter in my career.
