Leicester City Acquires Ex-Reims Striker Mouchon.
Leicester City has bolstered their squad by signing Noemie Mouchon, the former Reims striker, to a three-year deal, pending international clearance.
Mouchon’s addition promises to bring fresh talent and attacking prowess to the team.
Noemie Mouchon, 21, made a strong impression at Reims last season, netting nine goals in 22 league appearances in France’s Première Ligue.
She played under Amandine Miquel, who was appointed Leicester’s new manager on July 15.
Mouchon expressed her excitement about joining the club, stating, "It goes without saying that the WSL is the most attractive league in Europe, if not the world."
Noemie Mouchon is Leicester's fifth summer signing, joining a squad that's already added Tottenham's Asmita Ale, Jamaica's Chantelle Swaby, Belgium's Sari Kees, and Manchester City's Ruby Mace.
After finishing 10th in the Women's Super League last season, Leicester is looking to make a strong start, kicking off the 2024-25 campaign against Liverpool on September 22.
