Spain striker Joselu has agreed to join Real Madrid on a season-long loan from Espanyol.
Real Madrid is overwhelmed to announce the signing of Spain's renowned striker Joselu on a season-long loan from Espanyol.
Real Madrid has signed Joselu to boost up their attack after the departures of Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio, Eden Hazard, and Mariano Diaz.
Club Madrid has revealed in a statement that “Real Madrid and Espanyol have agreed to the loan of Joselu, who will be at the club for next season with an option to buy at the end of it.”
The 33-year-old forward has scored three goals in four appearances for his country and helps Madrid reinforce a depleted attack.
Joselu, who has played for 10 clubs in Spain, Germany, and England, previously played for the Real Madrid B team and has one La Liga appearance for Los Blancos, in the 2010-11 season.
Joselu helped Spain win the Nations League over the weekend, scoring a late winner in the team's 2-1 win over Italy in the semifinals.
Joselu will be officially introduced on Tuesday.
