Rangers Secure Mohamed Diomande: Midfield Maestro Joins on Loan with Future Purchase Guarantee.
Rangers have added midfielder Mohamed Diomande to their roster, completing a loan deal from Danish club Nordsjaelland.
The agreement includes an obligation to buy, with the transfer fee remaining undisclosed.
The 22-year-old midfielder, Mohamed Diomande, who has represented Ivory Coast at the under-23 level, has committed to a four-year contract with Rangers at Ibrox.
Diomande is set to join Glasgow once he receives a work permit. Expressing his enthusiasm about joining the historic club, he mentioned having positive discussions with the manager. He shared, "I'm very excited to join such a historic club, and I've heard a lot of good things about the team."
Having signed for Nordsjaelland in 2020 from the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana, Diomande played a crucial role in their runner-up finish in the Danish Superliga last season.
This season, he made 21 appearances, including seven in the Europa Conference League, where Nordsjaelland advanced through qualifications and secured third place in their group.
Currently, Nordsjaelland, led by Johannes Hoff Thorup, holds the fifth position in the Danish top flight.
Philippe Clement, the Rangers manager, has made Diomande his second signing after bringing in forward Fabio Silva on loan from Wolves.
