After being released by the Scottish Premiership club, center-half Leon Balogun has confirmed to rejoin the Rangers.

Rangers are delighted to announce the resigning of Leon Balogun on a one-year deal following his departure from QPR.

Balogun, 35, spent two seasons at Gers, winning the title and Scottish Cup and helping the club reach the Europa League Final, but failed to win a new contract under Gio van Bronckhorst.

Balogun will provide extra cover for the Gers backline, which has been depleted by Leon King's ankle injury, and the experienced stopper is desperate to win more silverware during his second stint.

Balogun flew out to Germany to meet up with the rest of Beale's squad after becoming the club's seventh summer signing.
