Brondby FC confirmed Anis Slimane's departure to join Sheffield United.
Sheffield United FC has officially confirmed the signing of Tunisia international Anis Slimane from Danish side Brondby in this summer transfer.
Tunisia midfielder Anis Slimane agreed with the personal terms and has signed a three-year contract with Sheffield United. The fee for the transfer has not been yet announced.
This is Sheffield United's first signing since returning to the Premier League.
The 22-year-old Tunisian midfielder, who will wear the No 25 shirt, played in the 2022 FIFA World Cup and is in line to feature in Sheff Utd's first pre-season friendly against Chesterfield on Saturday.
Slimane initially came through the ranks at third-division Danish club Akademisk Boldklub before moving to Brondby in June 2019.
He helped Brondby win the league title in 2020-21, their first in 16 years.
Slimane could be handed his Premier League debut against Crystal Palace on Saturday 12 August.
