Man City striker Liam Delap confirmed his move to Hull on a season-long loan.
Hull City FC is delighted to announce the completion of the signing of renowned striker, Liam Delap from Premier League champions Manchester City on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old becomes the Tigers’ first recruit ahead of the 2023-24 season and will link up with the senior squad for the pre-season trip to Turkiye.
Hull boss Liam Rosenior said they had beaten off competition from rival Championship clubs as well as European sides to sign Delap.
The highly-rated striker had two Championship loan spells last season, spending the first half of the campaign with Stoke City and the second half at Preston North End.
The former Derby youngster had a dream debut for Manchester City, scoring against Bournemouth in a Carabao Cup game in 2020. However, he struggled to get more opportunities under Pep Guardiola.
Hull finished 15th in the Championship last season, scoring just 51 goals in their 46 matches.
