Issa Kaboure confirmed his move to Luton Town on loan from Manchester City.
Premier League newcomers Luton Town is delighted to announce the completion of signing Burkina Faso right-back, Issa Kaboure on a season-long loan from reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.
Issa Kabore has become Luton's fifth acquisition of the summer transfer window.
Only 22, the Town’s latest addition has already won 28 caps for his native Burkina Faso, and spent last season on loan at Ligue 1 Marseille, playing in the Champions League four times.
Having secured his services, Hatters boss Rob Edwards said: “This is a really exciting signing and a big coup for the club, so I’d like to thank everyone involved for getting it over the line."
He also featured four times in the Champions League as well, including facing Spurs, but has agreed to head to Kenilworth Road for his first taste of the Premier League.
The Burkina Faso international helped his nation to fourth place in the 2022 African Cup of Nations, and he is nearing 100 senior professional appearances.
Now, he will make his first steps in English football, securing a loan spell at Luton after their promotion to the Premier League last season.
