Northampton Secures Chouchane on Loan from Brighton.
Northampton Town has brought in midfielder Samy Chouchane on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion for the rest of the season.
The Tunisia Under-20 international Samy Chouchane, who turns 21 next month, joins Northampton Town on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion for the rest of the season.
Although he hasn’t played for Brighton’s senior team, he has made seven appearances in the EFL Trophy. This is Chouchane's first loan move and Northampton's 11th signing of the summer.
Cobblers manager Jon Brady praised Chouchane’s development and attitude, noting his progress through Brighton’s ranks.
In other news, Callum Morton celebrated scoring his first goal of his second loan spell with Northampton Town in their 2-1 win against Exeter City on Saturday.
Morton had previously scored eight goals in 12 appearances during his initial loan with the Cobblers in 2020. His 65th-minute goal helped secure the victory, marking a successful return to Sixfields.
