Italian side Udinese has confirmed striker Beto's departure to join Everton FC.
Everton FC has officially confirmed the completion of signing Portuguese striker Beto from Italian side Udinese in the final stretch of this year's summer transfer window.
The Portuguese striker Beto agreed with the terms and has signed a four-year contract with Everton FC and completed the move for a fee believed to be £30m.
The tall striker is Everton’s fifth arrival in this transfer window after full-back Ashley Young and forwards Arnaut Danjuma, Youssef Chermiti and Jack Harrison.
Beto has reached double figures in goals in each of his last four seasons, the last two of which were spent at Udinese.
Beto made his debut in Portugal's Primeira Liga with Portimonense in August 2019. Having scored 11 goals in 30 league appearances in his second season at the club, he joined Udinese on a season-long loan in 2021.
His first season in Italy saw the striker score another 11 goals in 30 Serie A games, and Udinese signed him on a permanent deal for seven million euros ($7.55 million).
Last season Beto scored 10 league goals in 33 appearances, and Everton had tried to sign the player in January this year.
