Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli is all set to sign Edouard Mendy from Chelsea.
Saudi Pro-League side Al Ahli has officially revealed that they are keenly looking forward to signing Senegal international, Edouard Mendy from Chelsea.
Chelsea and Al Ahli have verbally agreed to a deal that will see Mendy swap London for Saudi.
The 31-year-old has agreed personal terms with Ahli and is expected to put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the club.
Since signing from Rennes in 2020, the 31-year-old has made 105 appearances for Chelsea and conceded just 86 goals, but fell out of favor under Graham Potter and Frank Lampard this season.
He's not the only Blues star set to ditch London for the Middle East, either.
Midfielder N'Golo Kante is closing in on a move to Al Ittihad, while Al Hilal is interested in Kalidou Koulibaly.
Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr has offered Hakim Ziyech the chance to double his salary, too.
