Bayern Munich finally acquired the service of Harry Kane from Tottenham.
German champions Bayern Munich is highly overwhelmed to announce the completion of signing England captain Harry Kane from Tottenham for a fee believed to be 120 million euros.
England international Harry Kane agreed with the personal terms and has signed a four-year deal with Bayern Munich, ending his record-breaking Tottenham career.
The 30-year-old striker had one year left of his contract with Tottenham who opted to cash in on him this summer before he could leave for free next year.
Kane scored 280 goals for Spurs, breaking Jimmy Greaves' previous club record of 266 - which had stood for 53 years - in February.
His 30 league goals last season took his tally to 213, 47 behind Alan Shearer’s record as the highest scorer in Premier League history.
“I’m very happy to be a part of FC Bayern now. Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world, and I’ve always said that I want to compete and prove myself at the highest level during my career. This club is defined by its winning mentality – it feels very good to be here,” Kane said after signing for the club.
