Wales international and Dragons experienced back row, Ross Moriarty has officially announced his move to Top 14 strugglers French side Brive with immediate effect.

The former England U20s star "has agreed on terms with a club outside of Wales" and will join them for the remainder of the 2023-24 season and beyond. He has signed a contract that will keep him there until 2025.

He follows Will Rowlands, Max Llewellyn, and Joe Hawkins in signing up to exit the regional scene, with Jarrod Evans also set to depart and overseas men Sione Kalamafoni, Tomas Lezana, and Ethan Roots moving on, too.

Ross Moriarty has become the latest big name to join the exodus from Welsh rugby.

The highly experienced row, Ross Moriarty joined the Dragons in 2018 and has made 54 appearances since, racking up 35 caps for Wales during the period.
