Webb Receives Four-Year Ban from French Anti-Doping Agency.

Former Wales scrum-half Rhys Webb has been issued a four-year ban by the French Anti-Doping Agency.

Rhys Webb, the former Wales scrum-half, has been handed a significant blow after receiving a four-year ban from the French Anti-Doping Agency.

His suspension came shortly after joining the second-tier French club Biarritz last summer, following a positive test for human growth hormone (HGH) during a routine training session. Both his A and B samples confirmed the presence of HGH.

With this ban in effect until 2027, Webb, who announced his international retirement ahead of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, faces a prolonged absence from the sport, returning at the age of 38.

Biarritz has been urged to provide a response regarding this development, marking a challenging chapter for the experienced player's career.
