Leicester's Frustration Over 'Offside' Goal: Cooper Speaks Out.

Leicester manager Steve Cooper revealed that the club met with the Premier League to address a 'terrible mistake' that allowed Crystal Palace to score in their 2-2 draw last weekend.

Leicester took a 2-0 lead at Selhurst Park with goals from Stephy Mavididi, but Jean-Philippe Mateta scored twice to level the match for Crystal Palace.

Mateta’s first goal was initially ruled offside, but VAR overturned the call despite replays suggesting he was offside.

Cooper said Leicester has presented evidence to the Premier League but hasn’t received an apology. 'It was a terrible mistake,' Cooper stated. 'The replay showed him offside, but it was frozen at the wrong moment.'

Leicester remains winless after four Premier League games and will face winless Everton at home on Saturday.
