Piastri Gears Up to Aid Norris in Title Fight.

Oscar Piastri says McLaren is prepared to have him support Lando Norris' championship push if needed during the Singapore Grand Prix.

Oscar Piastri said his recent win in Baku hasn't changed McLaren’s approach, with Lando Norris still the team’s main focus for the championship. 

'Lando is ahead in the standings and has a more realistic shot at the title,' Piastri explained. 'I want to win races, but if I can help Lando’s title bid, I’ll gladly do so.'

Norris, who outperformed Max Verstappen in Baku despite starting nine places behind, is 59 points behind the Dutchman heading into Singapore. 

Piastri trails Norris by 32 points. 

McLaren had already shifted focus towards Norris in Azerbaijan, but Piastri couldn’t assist as Norris was held back by a yellow flag in qualifying and finished fourth, with Verstappen in fifth.
