Southgate's Potential Farewell: A High Note Despite Defeat.

Gareth Southgate has led us on an incredible journey over the past eight years. However, I believe Sunday's defeat by Spain might be his final match as England's manager.

Right now, Gareth must be feeling the sting of that tough loss in Berlin, but once the dust settles on Euro 2024, I believe he'll decide it's time to step down.

It should ultimately be his choice to stay or go, and I think it will be. However, managing the national team is a demanding job, and he's been at it for a long time.

If he does choose to leave, he should do so with immense pride. England is in a vastly better place now than when he took over in 2016, and that's a testament to his leadership.
