NBA: Dallas Mavericks claimed victory over the New York Knicks.

The Dallas Mavericks has comfortably claimed 126-121 victory in overtime against the New York Knicks in an NBA clash.

Dallas star Luka Doncic has scripted the NBA record with a stunning 60-point triple-double helping his side to register a thrilling win over the New York Knicks.

Doncic added 21 rebounds and 10 assists, becoming the first player in NBA history with a triple-double featuring at least 60 points and 20 rebounds.

He's just the second player, after James Harden, to score 60 points in a triple-double, with Harden scoring 60 points with 10 rebounds and 11 assists in a game for Houston in 2018.

Dallas was down nine with 33 seconds left in regulation before getting even in a back-and-forth sequence capped by Doncic grazing the rim and hitting the backboard with the intentional miss.

The first 60-point game in Dallas history also included Doncic's career high in rebounds and was the first 60-20-10 game in NBA history. The young Slovenian had his seventh triple-double and the league's highest-scoring performance of the season.

The Mavericks moved three games over .500 with a fourth consecutive victory, both marks matching their season bests.
