Navarro Upsets Gauff as Wimbledon Struggles Persist.

Coco Gauff's Wimbledon challenges continued as she faced a surprising defeat at the hands of fellow American Emma Navarro, joining the list of high-profile seeds making early exits in the women's singles.

Second seed Coco Gauff was the highest-ranked player left in the tournament after Iga Swiatek's unexpected loss to Yulia Putintseva on Saturday. However, Gauff also made an early exit at Wimbledon, succumbing to a 6-4, 6-3 defeat by 19th seed Emma Navarro.

This upset left only two top-10 players in the women's draw: fourth seed Elena Rybakina and seventh seed Jasmine Paolini.

Wimbledon has proven to be the most challenging Grand Slam for Gauff, who has never advanced beyond the fourth round. 

In contrast, she reached the semi-finals at both the Australian Open and Roland Garros and won her first major title at last year's US Open.
