The 20-year-old Pole, who won the 2020 French Open and made it to the semi-finals of this year's Australian Open, reached the summit with a 6-2 6-0 victory over Viktorija Golubic at the Miami Open on Friday.

"It's definitely a dream come true," Swietec told reporters. "It's the kind of thing I wanted to do someday, but I really didn't know it would be possible for me.


"I didn't really imagine that moment, because to be honest, I was working day in and I was playing tennis well, but I never had such a strong belief that it would actually happen." so it's even more real to me."
