Heartbreak for GB's Orie: Narrow Split Decision Loss in Men's 92kg.

Delicious Orie narrowly lost by split decision to Davit Chaloyan in the men's 92kg, marking another early exit for a British boxer at the Paris Olympics.

Orie, Britain's top medal hope in boxing, lost a close 3-2 split decision to Armenian Davit Chaloyan in the last 16. This defeat means four out of six British boxers have now exited early in Paris.

"I've let everybody down, I've let Great Britain down. I'm really upset," Orie, 27, told BBC Radio 5 Live. "Right now, it feels like it's breaking me, but I know in a few years I'll see that I gave it my all. I just need time to heal."

Great Britain, the third most successful boxing nation in Olympic history, has won 18 gold, 13 silver, and 25 bronze medals, including six in Tokyo in 2021.
