Deepti and Bosch Shine Amid Chennai's Gloom.

In an uncommon occurrence for July, Chennai experienced prolonged rainfall that curtailed a T20 match. On Sunday, a steady drizzle disappointed the 13,000-strong crowd gathered for the second women's T20I at MA Chidambaram Stadium. Only one innings could be played, leaving fans longing for the exciting match-up they had anticipated.

During that time, spectators witnessed two tales of redemption: one from Anneke Bosch and another from Deepti Sharma.

India made four changes to their XI for the second women's T20I after losing the opening game to South Africa. They utilized five different bowlers within the first six overs. South Africa capitalized, racing to 66 for 1 during the powerplay.

In the previous match, India struggled in the middle overs (from the seventh to the sixteenth), conceding at 10.10 runs per over. This lapse allowed South Africa to reach a formidable 189 for 8 after a strong start at 44 for 1 in the powerplay.

This time, however, Deepti Sharma sparked a spirited comeback during that critical middle period.
