This win propelled Western Storm up from the bottom of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy standings.

In a thrilling match, Western Storm posted their second-highest total of the season, reaching 284 runs despite Katie George's impressive 5-50 for Central Sparks. 

The standout performance came from Australian Amanda-Jade Wellington, whose blazing innings of 83 off 53 balls featured 14 fours and two sixes, lighting up the scoreboard.

Wellington's fireworks included a crucial partnership of 102 runs with captain Sophie Luff (60), crafted in under 14 overs, setting the stage for Storm's commanding victory.
